The Country Patient Dental Subsidy Scheme is a government initiative to assist persons who hold an eligible Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card to access dental treatment through a private dentist where they are not located close to a government clinic. Patients may be eligible for between 50-75% subsidy on specified dental treatment including emergency treatment. For eligible children the government provides $1000.00 per child over a two consecutive year period toward dental treatment.

The benefit is available for treatment including:
Examinations, X-rays, Cleans, Fissure seals, Fillings, Root canals & Extractions.

We bulk bill eligible children for treatment covered under the Child Dental Benefit Schedule. You may have received a letter from Medicare confirming your child’s eligibility. Also if you have hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card call us to discuss your eligibility.
